The map below shows where our members are, but it doesn’t tell
you who they are.
Our members go to work every day at businesses that help to make
your life easier and more enjoyable. They are there to assist and
serve you.
They check your groceries, bake your bread, cut the meat that you
will serve your family for dinner, help you to your car, and stock
the shelves at night. Our members help you with the prescriptions
that keep you healthy. They will cut your hair. They will assist you
in picking out that special dress for your daughter. And they will
help you when you need to buy a new mattress for your aching back.
Our members work in retail grocery, bakeries, retail meat,
clothing/textile, pharmacy, furniture, jewelry, and shoes. They are
health care workers and hairstylists.
These are the people that UFCW represents. They are good people who
work hard in six counties in the Southwestern corner of the
Evergreen State.
