Since 2015, Michael has been a dedicated member of UFCW Local 367, beginning his journey at Fred Meyer as a Dairy Clerk. He quickly took on additional responsibilities, serving as a shop steward and vice president on the executive board. In 2023, Michael joined UFCW 367 as a Special Project Union Representative (SPUR), which transitioned into a permanent role as a Political Organizer and his current position as a Union Representative. Alongside his work with UFCW 367, Michael is a delegate to the Pierce County Central Labor Council. His union activism is driven by a commitment to improving working conditions and enforcing workers' rights on the shop floor.
