I became a member of Local 367 when I became employed at the new Lakewood Fred Meyer in 1982.
For many years, I have been concerned with the lack of fair working conditions and pay for the retail clerks, and believe that together we can do better.
My activities led to becoming a Shop Steward, a 367 Executive Board member, a Retail Contract Negotiating Committee member and a Grievance Committee member. I have always been an eager supporter of our members.
I promise I will always represent you, and my fellow retail clerks. I will fight for our membership, ensuring workplace safety and transparency by Local 367 as my extended goal as a member of the Executive Board.
I will always be your ADVOCATE!
