what we are fighting for
Grocery workers across Puget Sound are uniting with coworkers across the country to demand better. While major grocery chains report record-breaking profits, we continue to face chronic understaffing, rising costs of living, and the daily struggle to provide for ourselves and our families. UFCW 367 members are standing together to fight for a contract that reflects the essential work we do and the respect we deserve.

FAIR WAGES
01
As essential workers, we deserve wages that reflect the value we bring to our stores and our communities. We're fighting for real raises that keep pace with the rising cost of housing, food, gas, and everyday expenses—so we can support our families and build a better future.

MORE HOURS
02
We’re fighting for consistent and fair scheduling that gives us the hours we need to qualify for healthcare, earn a livable income, and provide stability for ourselves and our families. Part-time work shouldn't mean part-time respect.

SAFER STORES
03
We deserve to work in environments that prioritize our health and safety. That means addressing understaffing, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring management takes action to protect workers and customers alike.

WIN BIG AT THE TABLE
Jane McAlevey’s work has had a major influence on 367’s Member-Driven Model. Organizer, Labor Educator, and Author of numerous books and articles, her methods center around everything being a grassroots organizing opportunity. We were honored to have her as the keynote speaker at our 2023 Virtual Leadership Conference. Sadly, the labor movement lost Jane to cancer in 2024, but her strategies will continue to live on in the work we do.
The best way to understand power is to see it, to feel it, and to be part of it. That’s what open bargaining does—it demystifies negotiations and empowers workers to lead.
