I worked at Safeway for nearly 20 years before becoming a union rep. I made a point of staying informed so I could advocate for myself, which naturally extended to helping coworkers too.

I got deeply involved with UFCW 367 during open bargaining in 2025, became a SPUR, and was later hired as a union representative.
