UFCW Meat Cutters and Butchers Union

The UFCW 367 Meat Cutter Apprenticeship Program is designed for union members currently working in the meat department who want to advance their careers and become journey-person meat cutters.

This comprehensive apprenticeship program combines hands-on training, classroom education, and industry history to prepare participants for long-term success in the meat-cutting profession.

Through a partnership between UFCW Local 367, participating employers, and Bates Technical College, apprentices receive high-quality training that builds both technical expertise and leadership skills within the food industry.

Whether you are already working in a meat department or are looking to begin your path toward becoming a skilled tradesperson, this program offers a clear pathway to a rewarding union career.
