After months of organizing and action, UFCW 367’s member-led bargaining team has reached tentative agreements on major improvements to hours, scheduling, and safety language during the tenth bargaining session. These gains reflect the strength and persistence of grocery workers and their community allies across Pierce County.

UFCW 367 members returned to the table on June 16 for the ninth bargaining session. While Kroger engaged in real conversations around hours and scheduling, Safeway/Albertsons continued their delay tactics, arriving with no responses to basic questions. Our next session is June 26 — and we’re staying strong, united, and strike-ready.

UFCW 367 grocery and meat workers in Pierce County voted 97% YES to authorize an Unfair Labor Practice strike. With nearly 4,500 workers and 37 stores potentially impacted, this overwhelming vote sends a clear message: we will not be disrespected, and we are ready to fight for a fair contract.
